03/09/2005 - Aloha!  Here is a photo of the large wind farm at South Point on the Big Island. The wind turbines are used to generate electricity for the small communities dotting the southern most portions of the island. It was pretty cool seeing how big these things actually are in person, and the noise they create from spinning is spooky. Enjoy!
