01/26/2005 - Aloha!  I went hiking last weekend in Aiea, which is just northwest of Honolulu. There, I took the Aiea Ridge trail up to the summit of the Ko'olau range. The hike was approximately eleven miles round trip, and it provided amazing views of the Ko'olau Mountains and the H-3 highway. Here is a photo of the H-3 highway snaking through the mountains. Enjoy!
