01/20/2005 - Aloha!  Here is a photo of the US Coast Guard lighthouse on Makapu'u Point. When I was hiking around there last weekend, I got an opportunity for a different perspective on the lighthouse, so I thought I would share. The lighthouse is still in operation, and I think the Coast Guard gives tours of it every once in a while. It was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Enjoy!
